We took them on a four hour car ride so they could get their tattoos done. I am happy to report that all the pups took it in stride & no one was car sick. </div><div>We were then able to go visit Angie at Steinig Tal Kennels, where Chico is from. I am very pleased with the comments from Angie regarding the quality of the pups! I got to see Chico again, he is an awesome dog! I also got to meet one of his sons, who is very handsome.</div><div>All the puppies are now microchipped, tattooed, & UTD on vaccination & deworming. We have busy with the holiday weekend.</div><div>Anarchy is the first to have both of his ears up! A couple of the other pups have one ear up. The others have ears that are at least starting to come up. Shouldn't be long before they all have them up.</div><div>They are now use to guns of varying types/calibers being shot nearby. They have also been introduced (safely) to all the noises, sights, & smells associated with the 4<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span> of July. None of them had any problems or fear issues with any of this. They were all curious as to what was going on & why some of the other dogs were barking like fools :)</div><div>Weather <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">forecast</span> is calling for rather warm & sunny weather this week. So we have the puppy pool & sprinklers all set. They are use to the garden hoses & kids being in the (people)pool & the splashing/noise from that. We will be introducing the pups to the puppy pool, water, swimming, etc. this week. I will post photos of these events as they happen.</div></div>Von Ochs Stellt German Shepherdshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08515780296439107492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7779883468658706546.post-47701243471900216252009-07-01T11:26:00.005-05:002009-07-01T11:42:54.324-05:00Rain delay<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Q8wuSj8lGq8/SkuRrRSj3zI/AAAAAAAAABs/3Kaaw4z5D2Q/s1600-h/P1010008_edited.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 286px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 242px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353532754621620018" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Q8wuSj8lGq8/SkuRrRSj3zI/AAAAAAAAABs/3Kaaw4z5D2Q/s320/P1010008_edited.JPG" /></a><br /><div>We took advantage of a break in the rain we have been having to get the pups outside for some play time. They have been started on "puppy mush" & LOVE it! They also get to go outside a couple times a day, weather permitting. They are getting to be quite the little explorers. </div><br /><div>They also have been started on potty training. Their puppy area is divided into a eating/sleeping area & a potty area. It has taken a few days, but all the puppies are using the potty area now. We are only having one or two "accidents" a day. Most of which are happening at night, the results of sleepy/lazy pups more than likely. Not too bad considering there are 9 of them running around.</div><br /><div>Their individual personalities are starting to show up more & more each day. There are a few that are starting to show the potential for serious work or sport. </div><div>We will keep all changes & progress updated, as the pups grow & mature more.</div><div> </div>Von Ochs Stellt German Shepherdshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08515780296439107492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7779883468658706546.post-53533667749046307742009-06-09T11:34:00.003-05:002009-06-09T11:42:30.456-05:00Growing up......<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Q8wuSj8lGq8/Si6QyX5PyAI/AAAAAAAAABU/me2eo9PHD7s/s1600-h/P1010073.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345369002817341442" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Q8wuSj8lGq8/Si6QyX5PyAI/AAAAAAAAABU/me2eo9PHD7s/s320/P1010073.JPG" /></a><br /><div>The puppies are just over 2 weeks old.
